Photo Printing Software Manual

Once you click on the icon PhotoShop V1.1 after the installation, you will be loading to GREECO VENTURE Welcome Screen.

Choose your preferred option either to upload ONLINE or OFFLINE.
Upload Online
This is where your photos are transferred online to us for order
processing. If you order online, your photos will be transmitted via the
internet to a service provider. This may take a while depending on the
quantity of photos and the internet connection.
Upload Offline
This is where your photos will be save in a Zip folder, then you
will need to copy the whole folder into a pen drive, CD, DVD or any
other device and bring it to our store. Our storelocated at 7F, Jalan
Gottlieb, 10350 Georgetown, Penang,Malaysia.

Selecting Photos
There are two ways of selecting photos for developing.First, choose a folder on the left containing photos. Then you can...
Use 'Drag & Drop'
'Drag & Drop' means to drag an item with your mouse and drop it
somewhere. To use this method, click on a photo, keep the mouse button
pressed down, drag the mouse pointer to the 3rd column and then release
the button.
'ADD' photos button
Highlight the photos from the opened folder by clicking the 'Select All Images'.
Select and de-select photos
You can select a photo by mouse pointing on the photo, and keep the
mouse button pressed down. Your desired photo will be highlighted. You
may de-select the photos by repeating the step. The photo can be enlarge
by double click on the selected photo.
After the desired photos have been selected, click the 'ADD'button or by drag and drop method. The highlighted photos will appear in the 3rd column where you can edit and order them.

When a error message pop up showing' Low Quality On prints', by
means of these, the resolution of your photos is insufficient for the
selected format. After click on the 'OK', the photos that under
resolution will be shown by 'REMOVE' button become RED. You may remove
the photos that you do not want to order by click on the
'REMOVE' button.
Please note: if you keep the original choice of format in spite of the warning your print might suffer quality losses.

Once your selected photos been added, your photos will be shown in the 3rd column for order processing.
The 'REMOVE' button shows RED when your photo do not have sufficient resolution, which already been warn at the time when you drag/add the photos.
The 'CROP' button become 'RED' when your photo do not match with the selected print size.
The available print format has a 2:3 aspect ratio, which would be,
for example, 4x6 inch. Most digital cameras take photos however in 3:4
format, therefore, for example, 1200x1600 pixels. If your
photos does not match the print size, there will be WHITE BORDERS on
the print, or it will be cropped. To avoid this, and to use the full
area of the print, you can fit your photo to the format of the print.
The larger the desired prints are (e.g. format), the higher the resolution of your photo should be. You can set the resolution on your digital camera before taking photos.

Click on the 'Price List' if you want to check for the photo printing price. Prices may alter with time. For the latest prices, double click on the 'Price List' icon. 'Price List' for upload online and upload offline may differ.
Please also note: The 'Price List' can only be updated when you choose to 'Upload Online'. The 'Price List' for 'Upload Offline' cannot be updated, please check with us to get the latest prices.

You can assign the same quantity and same print format to all the
selected photos. Make your choice on the top of the photos selected.
Click on the tick box for 'print quantity apply to all' and 'size apply to all'.

Setting different formats for one photo
At the size column, click on the 'photo size' and 'qty' to change it to the print size and quantity preferred by you. You can then make a new choice for the quantity and format for the photos and thus order any number of photos in different formats.
Please note: Default setting for photo size will be 4R gloss, while default setting for quantity will be one.

Crop Photo
Cropping your photos serves to ensure that the aspect ratio is adjusted to an available format for ordering as most digital cameras produce photos with 3:4 aspect ratio, whereas prints as a rule have a ratio of 2:3. Define which areas of your photo are to be cropped so that during development neither unforeseen white borders nor truncated areas appear. Therefore 'CROP' button become red appear on the selected photos. With just a click of the mouse you can change the following.
Crop Frame
The area within the frame will be developed, the area outside will
be cropped. You can modify the size of the frame by drag the corners of
the frame with the mouse.
Move, Size
You can move the frame into any direction by moving the mouse.
Button: ROTATE
This button allows you to rotate the photo 90 to the left or right.
Button: SAVE
By clicking on this button, you can save the photo.

The available print format has a 2:3 aspect ratio, which would be, for example, 4x6 inch.
Most digital cameras take photos however in 3:4 format, therefore, for example, 1200x1600 pixels. If your photos does not match the print size, there will be WHITE BORDERS on the print, or it will be cropped. To avoid this, and to use the full area of the print, you can fit your photo to the format of the print.
In the case if your photo really cannot be fit, you may click on the button 'Apply White Border'. Selecting 'Apply White Border' may results white borders on two sides of the print.
We recommend White Border only if it is essential to show the entire image (for example, if your photo is square or has been manipulated to be very wide or very tall).
Do bear in mind that photo resizing is dependent on file size, picture size and shape, so the end result may differ from picture to picture and from camera to camera.
Setting 'Apply White Border' for one photo
Click on the 'Apply White Border' to change the photo for white
border. You can then make a new choice for the photo by click on the
'Crop' button or direct click on the photo at 3rd column, a frame box
appear together with the button 'Apply White Border'.

Setting 'Apply White Border' for all the photos
Click on the 'Apply White Border to all' to change all the selected photos with white border.
Once you press on the button 'Apply White Border to all', you will be warn by a message 'Confirm apply to all'.If you are confirm with it, just press on 'yes', otherwise, please press 'no'. If you click on the yes button, all your photos will then be show in white border.

When you have all the prints ready and would like to conclude your order, click below right on the button 'NEXT'. If a warning message appear on the photo when you click on the 'NEXT' button, this means you have photos thatdo not match with the print size.
Photo not match with print size
The available print format has a 2:3 aspect ratio, which would be, for

it will be cropped. To avoid this, and to use the full area of the
print, you can fit your photo to the format of the print.
If you do not want to proceed, please click on the 'No' button and go for either cropping or apply white border by yourself.
If you want to proceed with it, please click on the 'Yes' button.
Do bear in mind that if you proceed with this, all your photos will be
cropped automatically by the system, and it may results the photo that
print out missing some of the part. All your print out photos will be
automatically been cropped by the system and show in the 3rd column.
Therefore please check carefully all your photos before you proceed with
this step.


Login for ordering / Register for first order
Before placing your first order you can register (cost-free) to specify a user name and password. The User name is always the email address with which you registered. To register, click on the button 'Don't have an account?'
During registration you need to fill up a form. Once you has
completed with the form, click on the 'Submit' button. An email from
GREECO VENTURE will be sent to your registered email address, you will
have your password on the email, remember to change your password after
login your account and mark down your new
password to pervent password lost again in the future.
If you want to save the username and password on your computer, please click on the tick box Remember Me. Next time you order you will not have to enter your login data again.

Forgotten your password
If you have forgotten your password, click on the ' Forgot your password', you will have to key in your Account
Reset Passkey that you key in when you register. You may check back your register email address for the
account passkey. Otherwise, you may contact us for the Account Reset Passkey.

If you do not wish to register with us, then you should fill up the instant details each time you make the order.
Please make sure you fill in the correct address, otherwise your goods will not be deliver on time.
Please click on the 'Go' button when you finish fill up the instant details.

After filling up the details, the 'Invoice Page' will be shown.
The order value indicates the total price of the chosen print size, without shipping costs.
Please check carefully all your order item and click on the 'Next' button if there are no problems. Otherwise, please click on the 'Back' button.

Use Voucher
If you have received a voucher code, you can enter the corresponding voucher code in the voucher code box. Remember to click 'Validate' after you key in the code number.
The price reduction with the voucher will be directly offset against the order.
Please check carefully all your order item and click on the 'Next' button if there are no problems. Otherwise, please click on the 'Back' button.

Order Online
This is where your photos are transferred online to the service
partner for order processing. The transmission via internet can take a
certain amount of time.
You will have two option when upload your photos online. You can choose between these two ways of ordering.
Express Mode
Performs faster in uploading process. This mode will automatically resize all the photos to 200dpi.
Standard Mode
This mode will remains the optimum quality of your photos. Therefore the photos will be print at 300dpi.
What solution should I use to obtain the best quality prints possible?
The higher the resolution, the better the quality of the image, so go for the highest quality images you can.
What resolution do you print at?
Normally we print at 300 dpi, but it depends on the uploading mode that choosen by you.
What is DPI?
DPI stands for dots per inch. A measure of resolution for printers, scanners and displays.

After choosing your preferred uploading mode, the photos will be automatically be upload when you click on the'Upload' button. You may monitoring the whole uploading process.

If your program was hang or having any technical issue while
uploading, your uploading process will be stop until you click on the
'OK' button.
You have to restart the whole uploading process again by re-choosing the uploading mode.

When you on the half way of the uploading process, you need to leave it, please click on the 'Cancel' button. You will be ask whether to save and continue your project later. Click 'Yes' if you want to save it and 'No' if you do not want to save it.
Please note: If you do not want to save it, you will lost all the photos that done by you previously.

If you click 'yes', this means your photos will be save and to be continue when you are free later.
By clicking on the GREECO VENTURE software, you will be ask whether to continue on your previous upload seesion, click 'Yes' if you want to continue with it. Then you will be lead to the uploading option page. Click 'No' if you want to start a new album.

A pop up message will appear once the upload progress is done. Click on the 'OK' button to proceed to the payment page.

Once you proceed to the payment page, the software will come to the end.
Click on the button 'Yes, start an new album' if you wish to continue with another album.
Click on the button 'No, I want to exit' if you want to exit the software.

In the payment page, please check on the shipping details. Make sure your name, contact number, shipping address and poscode are correct, otherwise, your order will not be reach on time.
If your shipping address already been changed, please click on the 'Update Shipping Address' to change to the correct ones.
Please Note:
Greeco Venture do not hold any responsibility for the misplaced of the shipping address by you.

Once you have completed with your shipping address, please click for the 'shipping zone'. The total amount charged will be re-update after you enter the shipping zone charges and click on the 'Update' button.

After the shipping zone has been added, it will come to the final payment.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Option 1: Credit Card Payment
Pay through a secure credit card payment gateway. Please take note that IPAY 88 will be shown in your credit card statement.
Option 2: Bank Transfer Payment
Make payment by directly transfer the amount from your account to
GREECO VENTURE account. Currently we only support payment from
Maybank2U.
Option 3: Bank In Payment
Please deposit the payment amount into GREECO VENTURE's Maybank
account and fax/email us the payment slip/reference number with your
invoice number to +604-2295770 or email billing@greeco.com.my as your
payment prove.

Offline Order
After filling up the details, the 'Invoice Page' will be shown.
The order value indicates the total price of the chosen print size.
Because you choose to upload the photos by offline mode, therefore your invoice are not connected online, so you will not be able to get the invoice number.
Please be remind that the voucher cannot be use for the offline mode.
Please check carefully all your order item and click on the 'Next' button if there are no problems. Otherwise, please click on the 'Back' button.

For offline mode, the photos will be zip into an album.
Click on the 'Browse' button and select a place to keep your photos zip file, and then click on the 'Zip' button.
Once your photos has been zipped successfully, you will ne notify by amessage 'Album zipped successfully.'

The zip logo will be shown in the particular file/place that you choose to save your zipped album.
Please copy the whole folder into a pen drive, CD, DVD or any other
device and bring it to our store for the printing. Our store located at

Please be remind that we only accect CASH at our store and full payment is required.
